Our Story
This is our transformational story over the last 15 years.
2009
With 2 learners and 1 teacher, we started off as Kidz Next Door Kindergarten doing purely Montessori system of education.
2014
We graduated to a primary school with Grade One, Grade Two and Grade Three.
2016
We started partial sponsorship for some of our learners.
2017
Implementation of Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
2021
Upgrade of school premises to include Grade Four, Grade Five and Grade Six.
2022
First Grade Six class sat for National Examinations (KPSEA).
All did exceptionally well!
2023
Second class sat for National Examinations.
Recorded a growth of 8.31% over 2022.
2024
Rebrand from Kidz Next Door Kindergarten to Miale Stars Academy.
2024
Launch of Mwangaza Sponsorship Programme.
